Who we are
We are a second-generation family business — mother and son team of Nancy and Will Maupin — that has been working in the Medicare field for over two decades.
Our services are provided at no-cost to our clients to help them navigate the Medicare world from age 65 through retirement and beyond. We represent numerous companies and plans available in Spokane County and are licensed and appointed to work across the state of Washington.
Whether you are looking for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, prescription coverage, or don’t yet know where to begin, we are here to help. As local agents, we know the ins and outs of the health care system in the Inland Northwest. And with 509 phone numbers, you know when you call you’ll get us and not a call center in a far away city where the operator doesn’t know how to pronounce “Spokane.”
Now for the legally-required disclaimer:

Meet the Team
Maupin Health Insurance is Nancy and Will Maupin, a mother-and-son team. Together they have nearly 30 years of experience in the Medicare business. Nancy has been working in insurance since the early 2000s and Will came on board in 2018 — his mom claims to have plans to retire, but she can’t seem to pull herself away from the work.
The Maupin family moved to Spokane from Las Vegas in 1993 when Will was just two years old. Nancy and her husband George were looking for a good community to raise a child, and George was able to land a job at KHQ TV where he was a weatherman until 2012. They had no ties to the region, but have put down roots over the past three decades and now they’re full-fledged locals, like you.
Nancy is very involved with the Corbin Senior Center, the annual Alzheimer’s Walk, and enjoys working on her yard and garden. Originally from Ohio, Nancy worked in the local TV news industry prior to moving into Medicare.
In his spare time, Will is active with photography and writing, and enjoys documenting the region and its history for Wikipedia. He also covers local sports teams, especially the Zags, for the Inlander.

Ending Alzheimer’s
Nancy has been very active in the fight against Alzheimer’s after her husband George dealt with the disease.
Maupin Health Insurance is a proud sponsor of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The 2025 edition will take place Saturday, October 11 in Riverfront Park.
You can find more information on the walk here.
